I loved seeing all my cousins again and hanging out at my Aunt Kay's. It was neat to be out in the Texas countryside again. And Monroe got lots of snuggles from relatives and loved looking around in a new place!

more holiday gatherings
Just before Christmas, we got together with all my family on my mother's side, the descendants of the "Mae" Monroe was named for. In the photo below, you'll see 4 generations of Blanchard descendants: Monroe, me, my mom Audrey, and my granny Patsy. Pretty neat!
