thank goodness for baby motrin

Poor Monroe had to come home sick from daycare on Friday. She was running a fever, but didn't seem to suffer too badly as long as someone was snuggling her.

Saturday she got worse, with chills and a very cold body, then fever and a hot body, then fun projectile barf--all while daddy was out. (That's how we came to be in our bathrobes in this picture.)

She's still not 100% but she managed to enjoy herself yesterday during her a visit from her grandad (more on that later...)

  1. I was always bothered when her Grandpa Randy was ill. He got over it!

  2. Charle here....

Ah, the joys of sending your little ones off to day care and then picking them up at the end of the day, anxious to see them and hold them, longing for their touch, their smell...

and then finding that they've contracted every possible communicable disease there is.

Liquid Tylenol, liquid antihistamines, tubes in the ears. A parent's lifesaver. Good luck!
