Look what we found on sale!!!!
This evening we had our great babysitter Cruz, who hadn't seen Monroe since before Christmas, which was of course an endless lifetime in baby-development land. Monroe was very excited to play with Cruz and we were happy to confirm that she can now go to bed easily with a babysitter instead of Mommy and Daddy.
The occasion was our dear pal Zoe's 32nd birthday. She threw a second sweet 16, complete with 90's costumes. In teenager fashion, we got burgers in the Promenade and then went to the Santa Monica Pier to loiter.
The beautiful pier. (I got this photo from Getty Images, not my camera.)
Only Eben and Naomi were ready to ride the crazy upside down whirlygig.
The photobooth was much more my speed!
It was just like being 16 again, only no one broke up with anyone else on the Ferris Wheel or got grounded for being out after curfew. :-)
