Winter Solstice

While making our Christmas visit to St. Louis, we celebrated the shortest day of daylight in our hemisphere by taking in a bit of flower therapy at the botanical gardens with a few of Veronica's friends.

Monroe loved the model trains and trolleys that ran throughout the greenhouse. The greenhouse was in a gym-sized room and was built to be a model of the entire botanical garden as it would look in the spring!







We followed our time with the flowers by visiting Eben's great Aunt Bitz, who shares Monroe's birthday!
