pull up a chair

Being first-time parents, there is an overwhelming amount of stuff to buy for the baby--particularly because we are among the first in network of friends and siblings/cousins to have kids. The tricky part is figuring out what features and options you'll want on products you have never used before! We're still in the dark on strollers, car seats, and other items, but have made our minds up about one product--which, as luck would have it, is something the baby won't actually need until at least a year from now (when it is six months old). Oh well. It's nice to have one thing decided!

Check out this awesome interpretation of a high chair from Stokke (a Dutch company). Our friends got one of these for each of their babies and the whole family has always been able to pull right up to the table, no trays, no booster seats, no dangling feet, etc. The chairs grow with you! Plus they are made of eco-friendly beachwood, a big plus!
