As I poured my tea this morning I had a thought that I am pretty sure strikes every pregnant woman at some point: "HEY, WAIT A MINUTE.... Isn't 40 weeks TEN MONTHS?!?!?"
It is this kind of false advertising (combined with television depictions of pregnancy by skinny actresses who simply get a belly pillow added to their otherwise un-swollen bodies) that keeps our species going...
I'm so happy for y'all. Baby Melben/Ebelissa Cook has two of the best people I know for parents. Bless you and the ensuing months of changes.
