The baby got measured via ultrasound today and they estimate she weighs about six pounds now. With anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks left, she may be 7 or 8 pounds when she's born, but probably not too much more than that. (Of course, these things are not an exact science...) Everything looks pretty good in there!
Baby Room Update
Here's a picture of the current state of the baby's room. We have the walls painted, the curtains up, the laundry clean, the furniture ready, etc. There are some fun decorating extras that we'll do in the next few weeks, but the basics are all in place! I'll get better pictures later.
Mommy & Daddy Update
Our friends Kim and Zak are already here in LA for babyshower #2 tomorrow; Mike and Naomi get here later on tonight. We'll have lots of fun visiting with our friends this weekend!
I'm doing pretty good--kinda tired and experiencing hip pain and increasing carpal tunnel. I can't complain because it's been a fairly easy pregnancy overall, but I have to say I'm pretty glad to have entered the very last month! Eben's game is wrapping up, so he's enjoying some time for other stuff at work like R&D projects and teaching a class on one of his areas of expertise!
What pretty colors for the baby's room. So creamy. And the ocean theme is very nice. Great choices!
