lunch with daddy

I've been wanting to wear one of these again for quite a while:

Today Monroe and I drove to EA and had lunch with Eben. I've been looking forward to being able to do this for a long time, and she's just about big enough to handle it now. She's still not that into rides in the car. The first several minutes can be a bit brutal, but with luck and a well-placed pacifier, she'll nod off. Today she slept soundly all the way to EA and right through grown-up lunch. Then she woke up enough to cuddle her daddy, check out his new workspace, get shown off around the office, nurse, get a diaper change, and begin to feel tuckered out again. :-) Her daddy then deftly walked her around in his special, patented, sleep-inducing way before we braved the trip home.
