Today, while Mommy was out of town, Monroe had her first sailing experience. We went out with Aunt Naomi and Uncle Mike and some other friends including Chris and Gina (who own the boat). As you can see in the cute picture above, Monroe had fun playing with the beer. And as you can see in the cute picture below, she had one too many :) Kidding, of course. This may be the first time I've had to take care of her while Mommy is away for the weekend, but I'm not going to make the mistake of giving Monroe too much beer.
Editor's note: Hi, mommy here. For those of you who wondered, yes that IS a life jacket there next to Monroe in the top picture--we got a baby one just for her! Her dad tells me these lovely photos were taken below decks while the boat was docked. We figure we'll save the swimming lessons 'till preschool. :-)
GREAT Grandpa Adams took a very long boat trip the year that Grandpa Randy was born. He went from Seattle to Inchon and then from Pusan back to Seattle. He enjoyed the trip BACK!!
