This is the face of a sick baby. My kind-hearted parents bribed me out for a visit last weekend, but unfortunately Monroe was very sick the whole weekend, so we didn't get to do much visiting.
She slept uncomfortably all through the flight and then through lunch with her Granmama and Grandad. It became evident that something was quite wrong and ended up at a urgent care place, where Monroe was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection AND an ear infection and prescribed 10 days worth of antibiotics. I had hopes that she might perk up after a few doses of antibiotics (and she did) but then seriously icky digestive problems and an icky rash appeared as side effects of her medicine. All in all, it was a bit of a rough weekend for our lil' babe!
I remember when mine were sick. Not a comfortable time for anybody! Bless her little heart!
