Interview with 'Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor' Developer Tiger Style | Touch Arcade

Update: I posted the link by accident (when I meant to email myself) but now that it is here I might as well explain it a bit!

When Eben was first laid off from EA in November, he worked on spec for some buddies who were doing a start up to develop a game for the iPhone. The gang was led by some talented guys and Eben was happy to be involved. The game was about a spider and the original inspiration was close-up nature photography. But Eben ended up developing a visual style for them based on the creepy illustrations of Edward Gory which they loved and used throughout the game. The finished project is Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor which is now one of the top 30 paid downloads from the App Store on iTunes and is getting rave reviews. EXCITING! See the discussion of Eben's role about 2/3 of the way through the interview with the game's developers.
