tripod sitting
Monroe learns and grows and changes so much every week, it is amazing! Lately, she's upped her peek-a-boo skills, gotten much more interested in books, and learned to sit up!!!!! She balances on her outstretched hands (they call this sitting "tripod" style) and can go for a moment or two at a time. So she's finally getting to enjoy her chair at the dining room table because she's sitting up well enough to use it. She sits with us at dinner, playing with baby-friendly silverware, watching us eat, and cooing. She also likes to pull up to the counter and watch the mommy cooking show, which makes it easier for me to get dinner made.
